How to Enter:

Go to the BizBaz Facebook page and select the Rafflecopter Giveaway App next to the photo albums at the top of the page (this only works in the desktop site, not on a mobile device), then follow the instructions - it's easy and fast!  You can enter up to three times by:

1. Liking the Bizarre Bazaar Facebook page (required for entry)
2. Sharing the 2013 Bizarre Bazaar Event on your Facebook timeline (optional and requires validation information)
3. Tweeting about the giveaway - select the "Tweet" button in that option and the message is automatically generated for you (optional and requires validation information)

Four winners will be chosen at random on November 17, 2013 and contacted via the email associated with the winner's Facebook account to work out the details.  Gift certificates can be mailed out to winners or picked up during the show by the winners, depending on time constraints.

BizBazBucks! Guidelines

· The only people restricted from winning the giveaway bucks are artists who participating in this year's event. Past artists, family members of current artists, friends of current artists…all eligible. 

· There will be four $25 BizBazBucks gift certificates available to win in the giveaway. One gift certificate per winner only.

· The gift certificates given away in this promotion are valid for the 2013 Bizarre Bazaar only. If for some reason it isn’t used during this event, it is no longer valid and has no cash value.

· Each winning gift certificate is redeemable at one vendor only. Multiple purchases from one vendor are allowed and it can be used with other forms of payment if the total purchase exceeds $25. There will be no change given based solely on a purchase with the gift certificate; if the purchase is for $16 and the $25 gift certificate is used to pay for it, no change will be given.

· Not every vendor is required to participate. Winners intending to use the BizBazBucks at a particular vendor will need to inquire as to whether they accept them.

Artist feature: Betsy Keleher

Betsy Keleher is an artist who works with fabric, creating a variety of quilts, blankets and pillows.  She started sewing with her mother more than 50 years ago and continued to develop her skills as she got older.  About 15 years ago she started making pillows for graduation gifts and "just kept sewing".  Since then, she's expanded to quilts and blankets.

Betsy works out of her home, taking over the ping pong table in the recreation room as her main work station.  This will be Betsy's fourth year participating in the Bizarre Bazaar and she is open to taking custom orders. 

Betsy is working on a new website but can currently be reached via email at Bkeleher@swbell.net.

2013 BizBaz registration forms

The time has come...registrations have been sent out and should be arriving in the mail in the next couple of days!

A couple of things to think about when you get that registration form in the mail:

• Remember, this part of our process is snail mail only.  We don't take any registrations online.  

• We do start a wait list with all of the artists who don't get into the show so that as spaces open up for various reasons there are still opportunities to participate.

• It's time for us to clean out our mailing list. This year we are including a form to fill out if you wish to stay on the mailing list but aren't planning to participate in the 2013 show.  If you send in the registration form or that "stay on the list" form, you will remain on the mailing list for next year.  We will retire our old mailing list at the end of this year and use the new one going forward.

• Artists will be notified about participation by the end of July.

Are you interested in creating artwork for the 2013 Bizarre Bazaar?

Every year, the chosen artwork is used for: 

• Posters
• Postcards 
• Facebook, Twitter, and the BizBaz blog and website
• Print Ads
• T-shirts

Parameters:

• 8.5” by 11” (vertical) paper
• Black and white print
• Keep in mind that artwork will be printed on t-shirts so fine detail does not happen very easily
